Did you know that Family Guy is all in Stewie's head? The reason his head is shaped like that is because he has two giant brain tumors, and all of his little adventures are made up, Calvin and Hobbes-esque stories. The original Brian did die, they replaced him with another Brian, but since Stewie has such an active imagination, he pretends it's the same Brian. He's actually five, the reason he says he's one is because that's when he was diagnosed with the tumors, and the doctor said he'd be lucky to live past five. Seth Macfarlane tries to delete any discussion of this online because of how dark it is, and when people have tried to ask him about it in interviews, he grows actively hostile, yelling and throwing things at the interviewers before smashing any cameras they were using.
